Overview

The meaning of the word ‘Amritsar’ translates to ‘a pool of nectar. This beautiful, holy city lives up to its name in every way. Located in Punjab, the city is close to Pakistan geographically, with the Wagah Border situated 28 kilometers from the city. Amritsar is a city with a small-town feel. The city is home to the Harmandir Sahib, popularly known as the Golden Temple. Dalhousie is a gem of a hill station in India. The scenery is very vivid with flowering rhododendrons and dense forests filled with pines, oaks, and deodars. The town was established by the British as a summer retreat for their officials. Dalhousie is dotted with beautiful buildings sporting colonial architecture, reminiscent of the British era, such as St. Francis’s Church, St. Patrick’s Church and St. Andrew’s Church. When you visit Chandigarh, you get a blend of both the worlds, where concrete grandeur co-exists in harmony with gorgeous gardens, while magnificent mountains loom in the horizon. Spend some time in this well-planned city, designed by the Swiss-French architect Le Corbusier. Known as “City Beautiful,” one can almost smell the mountain air as one enjoys the umpteen gardens in Chandigarh.

On the first day, you will arrive in Amritsar on your preferred mode by Air or Train. Check-in at the hotel and visit the India-Pakistan border at Wagah. Watch the ‘Beating the Retreat’ ceremony where soldiers of both countries bring down their respective national flags in their unique styles. As the sun goes down, the air is filled with the sound of nationalistic slogans and patriotic songs. Then return to your hotel.

After breakfast, Start your city tour with the blessings of Sri Harmandir Sahib, is named after Hari (God) the temple of God, also known as the Golden Temple in Amritsar is the holiest shrine of the Sikh religion. Then visit Jallianwala Bagh which is a memorial to the countless numbers of innocent Indians which were massacred by General Dyer in 13 April 1919 which happened to be ‘Baisakhi’, one of Punjab’s largest religious festivals. After lunch(Own basis) visit Maharaja Ranjit Singh Museum- The summer place of Maharaja Ranjit Singh. It is surrounded by the lovely garden Ram Bagh. Maharaja Ranjit Singh is a prominent figure, who had carved a niche for himself in the history of India. Evening day at leisure.

After breakfast, Check out from the hotel. Then proceed to Dalhousie by road. On arrival, check- into the hotel. After some time drive to local sightseeing of Dalhousie, Jandhrighat Palace, Subhash Bowli, Bara Pathar, Panjphulla, Subhash Chownk, GPO Dalhousie, Satdhara and the last but not least Old Churches of Dalhousie, Must eat Gulab Jamun at Café Dalhousie, Walk from GPO to Subhash Chownk through Thandi Sarak, also visit DC Khanna Grocery shop.

After breakfast, we shall depart for Khajjiar known as Mini Switzerland of India, on the way to Khajjiar we shall stop at Kalatop (A Nature walk suggestive here from Kalatop toll Bridge to Kalatop Rest House) and thereafter to Khajjiar and thereafter towards Chamba and after full day excursion Go back to the hotel to have your dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, Check out from the hotel. Then depart to Chandigarh by road. On arrival check-into the hotel. Evening free at leisure.

It’s the end of this honeymoon trip. After taking breakfast, you will check-out from the hotel. Enjoy some time yourself then Next, you will be transferred to Amritsar Railway station / Airport.

* Booking prices are based on the age of the passengers. Kindly make sure you provide the correct age of passengers at the time of booking. Passengers furnishing incorrect age details may incur penalties at the time of traveling.
* Booking confirmations are subjected to availability of service at the time of booking.
* All Holiday services include standard or base category rooms, unless selected otherwise.

* Price quoted are subject to availability at time of confirmation, we are currently not holding any blocking against the sent quotation.
* In case of unavailability in the listed hotels, arrangement for an alternate accommodation will be made in a hotel of a similar standard.
* In case your booking needs to be canceled due to any natural calamity like weather conditions, Tsunami, etc. Infritrip shall strive to refund you the maximum possible booking amount however it will be subjected to the agreement made with our trade partners/vendors.
* Child below 02 years may be free. However please confirm at the time of booking.

Please note that 'Day at Leisure' essentially implies that no sightseeing activities have been included for that day.
* Travelers should be on time for activities, tours, and transfers. Most countries are quite strict about following a schedule.

Payment Rule:
* 25% payment of total amount at the time of booking.
* After 50% payment you will get hotel confirmation.
* Rest of the 25% amount you will pay 07 days before your travel.
* In peak season 50% required payment at the booking time.
* The entire amount paid as 1st payment installment (deposit) would be non- refundable.

Amendment Rule:
* Amendment of booked tour will be treated as Cancellation. However, minor amendments can be made on the payment of a communication charge, which will vary from case to case.

Refund Rule:
* Refund will be paid to the source through which the guest has booked. Any refund will take at least 45 days to process & will be sent to you by a/c payee cheque only.
* If payment is not made as per the schedule provided in the first booking confirmation e-mail, Infritrip reserves the right to cancel the booking after attempting to get in touch with you. Refunds would be as per the package cancellation policy.

Note:
* After booking amount transfer, please inform us so we will check in our bank account and send payment invoice to you.
* At the time of Instant payment , if applicable then you have to pay Bank charges extra.
* Package cost will not be valid during public holidays, festivals, exhibitions and long-weekends. A surcharge will be levied and will be advised at the time of booking.
* Please note that these packages are customizable, which means that you can make changes to the itinerary/activity if you desire. The final payment will be calculated as per the activities reflecting on the website which will be outlined in the confirmatory e-mail sent to you.

If full booking amount is paid at the time of booking:
* Before 30 Days of your travel date if you cancel your trip there is no cancellation charges , only some amount of service charge will be deducted & rest of all amount will be refund in your account.
* Before 29 to 15 days of your travel date if you cancel your trip then 25 % of amount charge applicable as per cancellation policy.
* Before 14 to 10 Days of your travel date if you cancel your trip then 50 % of amount charge applicable as per cancellation policy.
* Before 09 to 07 Days of your travel date if you cancel your trip then 75 % of amount charge applicable as per cancellation policy.
* Less than 7 days of your travel date if you cancel your trip then 100% amount charge applicable as per cancellation policy. (There is no refund)
In case : If you travel any hill station , if there is any natural calamity or heavy snow fall use faced & if your trip is cancel, in that case, there is no refund policy will be applicable and for Amarnath and chardham booking no cancellation policy will applicable.

NOTE: if cancel due to non availability 12.5% of the package amount deducted
If booking amount is paid in installment at the time of booking:
The entire amount paid as 1st payment installment (deposit) would be non-refundable.

General:
* Cancellation will attract cancellation charges.
* Cancellation charges shall depend on date of departure and date of cancellation.
* Cancellation charges for any type of transport ticket are applicable as per the rules of the concerned authority. Any refund payable to the Guest will be paid after Infritrip receives refund from the respective authorities.
* Infritrip will deduct processing charges from the refund to be paid to the Guest.

* Indian nationals do not require visa to visit any tourist place within India.
* International visitors must check if they require visa before making any booking.
